My Pet Dragon / Maggie Moe
Dear friends,
Please join me July 12th for the My Pet Dragon concert at the world-renowned Public Theater in NYC.
My Pet Dragon has been making waves in the industry since its March 2022 debut at the Ripley Grier Theater in Times Square.
Reviews have included:
“My Pet Dragon captured me from the very start. It never flagged. It skillfully combined creativity and credibility as we witness a young person’s descent into the seductive, awful grip of an all-too-human affliction and the difficult battle to get back control of her life. It is riveting, searing, poignant-and inspiring.” - Steve Forbes, Chairman of Forbes Media
“Every time I tell a friend or colleague about the show, my eyes tear up because it was so moving.” - Laura Becker Lewke, Silicon Valley Attorney
“A glorious piece, important and affirming, theatrical and magical and real.” - Donna Di Novelli, Writer and NYU Tisch Professor
The show will include twelve of the most popular songs of My Pet Dragon and will be performed by Broadway stars such as:
VERONICA DUNNE
(Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway, KC Undercover on Disney Channel), Santina Umbach (Broadway’s Mamma Mia!) Meredith Inglesby (Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast), Will Boyajian (Sleep No More), Harrison Meloeny (Pageant of The Masters), and more exciting stars to be announced, so stay tuned!
The My Pet Dragon concert will be held at the legendary Joe’s Pub within the Public Theater. Hamilton, Suffs, HAIR, Hell’s Kitchen and other cornerstones of American Musical Theater began at the Public and Adele and Amy Winehouse made their U.S. headlining debuts at Joe’s Pub.
My Pet Dragon is especially important to me because my daughter Maggie Moe wrote it and it’s her story. The “Dragon” is a metaphor for drugs and while the topic is heavy, the show is inspiring, funny and important. I’m a biased Dad but it’s clear there is something really special happening with this show to help people.

As Maggie would say, love and show tunes,
