This one was hard hitting @michaelmoe. It made me reach out to my remote team this morning to share and encourage taking the time to connect or re-connect with the people in their lives. Thank you.

Great article, @michaelmoe. But, I have some reservations re. China resurfacing as the global leader. China was the world No. 1 GPD in Qing Dynasty over a hundred years ago, but it was far from being the global leader and the dynasty ultimately collapsed. Today. China’s economy is shrinking as manufacturing is moving away from China to other countries. The real estate bubble in China is imminent that has already resulted in significant revenue deficits. China has also isolated itself from the global community by aligning with Russia in the current Ukrainian war; and its black box political system is going through a major crisis right now with the disappearance of its foreign minister. So, even if China’s GPD would surpass that of the United States, it will not be a global leader until it is transformed into a more open, transparent, and democratic country.
